The OrigAudio Rock-It 2.0 is one of those small As Seen On TV products that pack a big punch. It’s funny, I first saw this product on the TV Show, Sharktank. My wife and I thought it would be pretty cool, but probably didn’t work as well as they promoted it. To give it a fair test, I gathered several boxes and containers to see if it could make “anything” into a portable speaker.
I played a song from my iPhone and let the test begin. It worked fantastic on paper or cardboard. It worked the best when placing the sticky pad on the bottom of the box or container. That allowed the waveforms to have the best sound. The OrigAudio worked fantastic! I was really impressed at how much sound it generated by using soundwaves. It didn’t work as well on a metal ice bucket, and didn’t really work on a glass container. That being said, this would be a super cool device for parties, and for that cool factor. I don’t want to infer that this is a kitschy product. The OrigAudio Rock-It 2.0 definitely delivers. With that in mind, it is certainly sweet to stick it to an empty box and have some great sound come out.
This would be a great product for people on the go. The compact design and fully-enclosed pod makes for an easy travel companion. While you can wash the sticky pads with soap and water to re-activate the tackiness of the pod, they also provide 2 extra sticky pads.
The As Seen On TV Rock-It 2.0 is a great product. It is a conversation piece that takes speakers to a whole new level!
