Schticky, Sticky Master, and Sticky Buddy are all As Seen On TV reusable, washable lint rollers. They all have the basic similar claims. Each of them have a plastic sleeve/cover. But does one stand out of the crowd? Which one is the best? TV Trends did the first ever FACE-OFF between these like-minded lint rollers to uncover the definitive winner.
Our first test was to discover which of these products picked up pet food the best. In some of the infomercials, they use bird seed, so we picked up some bird seed and spread it across the table. First up was the Schticky. This As Seen On TV product picked up the bird seed with no problem. It was literally covered with seed. Sticky Master was less than great. It more pushed the seed than rolled around picking up the seed. There was a distinct lack of seed on the Sticky Master after this test. Sticky Buddy almost picked up the whole table, it was so tacky. The Schticky dominated picking up bird seed.
Each of the lint rollers released the bird seed when agitated in warm, soapy water. That being said, each of these lint rollers would wash much better if there was running water.
The next test we rubbed a black shirt on a dog and picked up a bunch of white dog hair. With cats and a dog at my house, this happens all the time. Each of the three products during this face-off removed hair with ease.
Overall, the video makes it pretty clear how well they worked, but it was pretty obvious that both the Schticky and Sticky Buddy dominated the Sticky Master. Either way, you wouldn’t be disappointed with either of these As Seen On TV lint rollers. However, I was a big fan of the agitators found on the Sticky Buddy… so if I HAD to pick only one, that would be the one I’d point people to.
